I live in south central Wisconsin, sharing 11 acres and a dream with my boyfriend Don.  If we are mid-life, then we still have at least 50 more years to go! :)  Our adult children are grown, but come to visit occasionally.  Don and I have been together over four years, and homestead.  This means we currently raise much of our own food, including pigs, chickens, rabbits and goats; we also own two horses, two dogs, and two cats.  We have a small garden and can the vegetables; we enjoy fishing and hunting (either by archery or guns).  I've made homemade goat cheeses, breads, and jellies.  Don traps animals in the fall and winter months.  We also try to save money by shopping at bent-n-dent and discount food stores.

I also love to travel, and have been to much of the United States, as well as overseas destinations including Scotland, Ireland, Germany, France, and Austria.  I've enjoyed several cruises to the Caribbean.  I'm the trip planner at our house!

I enjoy researching many subjects through the magic of the Internet.  Some of my interests include collecting foreign money, conspiracy theories, mythological world history, and the possibility of "the doom of 2012."   Occassionally I also design T-shirts to sell on Zazzle.

I'm also a recent 'Sugarhead' - I was lucky enough to meet the guys from the band Rock Sugar while on a plane trip!  I didn't know who they were, but they were so sweet and friendly to me.  Now I can't stop listening to this awesome music!!!
